What Information We Collect

When you submit a quote request through IE Solar Quotes, we collect the following information:

  • Full name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Street address and ZIP code
  • Estimated monthly electricity bill
  • Roof type

We also capture UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) from your visit to understand how you found us — this helps us improve how we reach homeowners like you.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used for one primary purpose: connecting you with a licensed solar installer in the Inland Empire so you can receive a free, personalized solar quote.

We may also use your information to:

  • Follow up regarding your quote request
  • Send you relevant solar-related communications (you can opt out at any time)
  • Improve our website and service
  • Comply with legal obligations

Who We Share Your Data With

Local solar installation companies. That's the core of what we do — we share your information with licensed, vetted solar installers operating in the Inland Empire so they can contact you with a quote. We only share your data with installer partners we have vetted.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies. We do not share your information with third parties for purposes unrelated to your solar quote.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

As a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

Right to Know — You can request a copy of what personal information we have collected about you, why we collected it, and who we've shared it with.
Right to Delete — You can ask us to delete your personal information. We will honor valid requests, subject to certain exceptions (like completing a transaction you've requested or complying with legal obligations).
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing — We do not sell your personal information. If that changes, you will have the right to opt out.
Right to Correct — You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for the service we provide.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in the Contact Us section below. We will respond within 45 days.

No discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to capture UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign) from your visit. This data helps us understand which marketing channels bring homeowners to us.

We may also use third-party analytics tools that set their own cookies. These tools help us understand traffic patterns and improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We do not use tracking technologies to collect sensitive personal information beyond what you voluntarily provide through the quote form.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure database storage, and access controls on who can view your information.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we take appropriate steps to minimize risk.

Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected (connecting you with a solar installer) and for a reasonable period afterward to handle any follow-up questions or legal obligations.

Lead data is retained for up to 24 months unless you request deletion sooner.

Contact Us

To request data deletion, ask questions about this privacy policy, or exercise any of your CCPA rights:

Email: ie-solar-quotes@polsia.app

We aim to respond to all requests within 45 days, as required by California law.

You may also contact us anonymously if you prefer not to provide identifying information in your request — though doing so may limit our ability to fulfill certain requests.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we'll try to notify you — for example, by email or a notice on our website.
